Parenting 4 Academic Success
is an organization founded by Priscilla Dixon,
a full time mother of
three children in Chicago Public Schools and a product of Chicago Public
Schools.

    7 years as a CPS parent, advocate and volunteer
  11 years of parenting
  15 years of teaching experience
  15 years of public speaking and presentation
  20 years as a practicing attorney
+30 years of community commitment and activism

society. Parenting 4 Academic
Success provides information,
support, resources, advocacy,
assessment , mentors and
networking to all those who
participate in the education of
a child.
Priscilla Dixon is  a product of the Chicago Public Schools,
having graduated Lindblom Technical High School.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and
Psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas,  
TX and a Juris Doctorate from University of Texas at Austin,
TX
.
Licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1985, Ms. Dixon has
worked as an attorney for small firms, as a sole practitioner  
and Cook County State's Attorney Office.  Her teaching and
presentation experience includes Minority Legal Education
Resources, Inc and John Marshall Law School, Chicago, IL.  
 An active and involved parent of three CPS students, Ms.
Dixon serves as a Junior Great Books and Art in the
Classroom volunteer and LSC member.
